2016 Hare and Hounds Invite Recap

It was a great day of racing for LCS XC on Saturday at the 6th Annual Hare & Hounds Invite at McAlpine Park in Charlotte.  We were blessed with ideal race conditions for fast running and our harriers did not disappoint!  Our Ladies outperformed 1A foes Pine Lake Prep, Community School of Davidson and Gray Stone Day to place 8th out of 37 teams in the Invitational race which is a great accomplishment in a highly competitive meet.  Our guys were missed out on top ten to Central Academy on a tie breaker.  They were 11th out of 52 teams.  Below are links to the results from Saturday and our stand-out performances from the meet.  As you can see there are a lot of them!

Siblings Best their Sisters PR's!

Congrats to Sophomore Megan Minaudo and Freshman Jenna Jasinski!  Both of these girls bested their big sisters Ellen Minaudo, LCS class of 2015 and Carly Jasinski LCS class of 2016 career-best times. Way to go girls!  This is a major personal accomplishment!
