CONCESSIONS/DINNER:
If it all possible I would like for everyone to try and take advantage of the food available at the course. If we see that we need to make a stop on the way home for the food we will but seeing that it will be late our options will be limited. Also, I really want to help support Mt. Tabor XC because the cost of this meet is very expensive.
Concessions will be available in the team camp area. PDQ Restaurant will be on site serving chicken sandwiches, tenders, grilled chicken salad, and side items along with tea, water, and lemonade. Sandwich or tenders with chips and a drink will be sold for $7. There will also be two other food trucks for food options per meet director. Kona Ice will also have a truck serving slushies and refreshments.
Message from Meet Director
“HEAT DELAY! Safety is our first concern, and I am certain our school system will have us under a heat delay. I have CANCELED the developmental/community race at 5:30pm. We will likely be under a heat delay until 6pm.
We will now start with JV girls at 6:20pm.
JV Girls will be pulled off of the course at 35 min and boys at 30 min.
Three food trucks will be selling food, refreshments, and slushies for athletes and spectators. A full meal will be in the $7-10 range. New Balance "technical" meet shirts will be for sale for $15 from Fleet Feet Sports. These vendors and shirts are how we offset the tremendous expenses hosting this meet. Thanks for advertising this with your team and helping make Friday Night Lights possible!”
Be prepared for hot weather when we arrive and cooler weather once the sun goes down...bring a long sleeve shirt or jacket just in case.

COURSE: 5km at the Ivey M. Redmon sports complex in Kernersville, NC
LIGHTING: The course will be lighted throughout. Splits will be called at the 400m mark, Mile, and 2 Mile
marks. Sunset is 7:32 pm on 9/11/15
PARKING: Free
ADMISSION: All Spectators $5 for races or post-event fireworks. Ages 12 & under Free
AWARDS: Top 15 individuals in Championship & Invitational Divisions (Medals)
Top 10 in JV/Developmental Division. (Medals)
The Top 2 Teams in all races will be awarded plaques, including JV Races.
RESULTS: Available 10 min after each race and will be posted online at NCRunners.com
