16th Cannon School Cross Country Invitational - UPDATE 9/04

16th Annual Cannon School Cross Country Invitational
Saturday September 6th 2014
5801 Poplar Tent Road
Concord, NC 28027
ATTENTION:

Unless I receive an email or note with a legitimate reason, you will be expected to travel with the team to Cannon School on the bus.

I would like to create more team unity among our team.

I also was not happy with some of our runners just basically scattering out of here before the Ashbrook meet and letting me know after the fact that they drove when there was no real good reason for them to drive separate.

So unless you have a VERY good reason, you need to be at school at 6:30 am Saturday.

I have no problem with you riding home with a parent after the meet.  Please let me know before you leave on Saturday if you plan on doing so.

NEW INFORMATION FROM THE MEET DIRECTOR 9/04/14:
THIS SATURDAY 9/06, the NCDOT will be shutting down sections of the Poplar Tent Rd. I-85 interchange to finish construction. If you are traveling to Cannon for the invitational via I-85, please use Exit 54, Kannapolis/George Liles Parkway. Continue on to George Liles Parkway (R of the exit if you were traveling North, L off the exit if you were traveling south). Then take a R onto Poplar Tent Rd. School will be on your left after crossing the bridge. Please alert your parents as well.

Parking at Cannon School will also be affected by new construction on campus.  Please tell your parents to car pool as much as possible, follow traffic flow signs and parking attendants and also and most importantly BE PATIENT.

Thank you,
Russ Campbell
Cannon
